I’m doing this on my tablet for the first time in an attempt to see how well I can effectively work ‘mobile.’ Today has been my most physically demanding Personal Training session since I started three weeks ago and to say I’m exhausted is an understatement. There isn’t a bit of me that doesn’t hurt, which says to me that actually, this is doing the right thing. However, between reps my recovery period is shorter, I am feeling stronger overall and I know, deep down, this is absolutely the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. It is odd, sitting here, thinking about how for long periods of time I had no real interest or desire to exercise. Now, I couldn’t imagine life without it.
I’ll go more into details of what I’m aiming for in the next few days, but for now I’m also using the opportunity to Spring Clean and dispose of a large portion of my old life and finally move on. That was hard, the first bit today, but tomorrow will be harder still. However, it has to be done and it will.
For now, I think I’ll just go lie down somewhere for a while.
