In the Waiting Line

Once Upon a Time, if I got stuck on a mistake in my fiction work, I’d stop writing and walk away. That was the perpetual story of inability to make things work in my head. Today, I went back and corrected a key error in my NaNoWriMo which means the work’s exceeded 50k words. It is also apparent that I’m nowhere near done. On current estimates I’d anticipate about 70k, and it will be finished before the end of November.

However, I’m done for today, on four hours sleep and close to mental meltdown.

Sometimes, you have to sacrifice stuff so that other stuff gets done. Today was that day. Back to many steps, lots of exercise and a healthy outlook tomorrow. Now, I’m going to lie face down somewhere dark for a bit.
